Most tennis players open a can of 3 balls for their free hitting practice session but then the work : rest ratio is not that good, typically around 2:1. But if you open 2 cans of balls and practice with 6 balls then your work to rest ratio is around 4:1 which is what pushes you physically and mentally to improve in the long term.

6 points in a row also simulates a competitive game where the score reached 40:30 before the leading player won the game which is a very realistic way to practice intensity vs rest ratio during your tennis training sessions.
