It's been six months since powerful quakes struck south-eastern Turkey and parts of Syria, causing unprecedented destruction. They hit in the early hours of February 6 and were followed by violent aftershocks. In Turkey, over 50,000 people died, according to official figures. Millions were left homeless.

Rebuilding costs will be in the billions of dollars. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has vowed to "heal the wounds" of earthquake survivors. But many find it difficult to see a future. Our correspondent Julia Hahn reports from Hatay, one of the worst-hit provinces.
