The next guest on Prakhar Talks Sports in Indian swimmer Srihari Nataraj. Natrarj recently participated at the 2024 Asian Age Group Aquatics Championships hosted by New Clark City in Capas, Philippines. Nataraj, along with fellow simmers Aneesh Gowda, Sajan Prakash and Aryan Nehra won the gold medal in men's 4x200m freestyle relay team. The team also set a new National Record with a remarkable time of 7:26.64. At the Championships, Nataraj emerged as the best swimmer for India with 4 Golds & 1 Silver medal.

Nataraj has previously represented India at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships and was one of the country's three swimmers to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He has also represented India in two Commonwealth Games (2018 and 2022) and one Asian Games.

The Bangalore-born swimmer dominates the backstroke events in India. He holds the men’s national record in all three backstroke categories (50m, 100m and 200m), with his latest coming in the 200m heats at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Nataraj also holds the record in the 200m freestyle and another four in relays.
