Storm Gerrit caused chaos across the U.K. this week, with strong wind gusts, snow, and heavy rain battering various parts of the country. The storm led to travel disruptions, damaged houses and cars, and left many people without power.

On Thursday, emergency services were deployed to clear the affected areas, while some houses suffered heavy damage, particularly to their roofs.

A plane also made a rough landing at Heathrow Airport due to heavy winds from Storm Gerrit in London on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, one fishing boat off Shetland had a "miserable night" as it endured the stormy conditions.
