Tee height does matter!

If you tee the ball too low, you'll never rid yourself of the sliced driver. In this video, PGA Master Professional of Instruction and 2 time North Florida PGA Section Teacher of the Year, John Hughes, shows you why teeing the driver too low is a big reason why you hit slices with your driver.

When you tee the ball lower, there is now room for your to swing "up" with the driver. And, teeing it low tells your brain to go "down" after the ball. Causing those nasty marks on the crown of the driver.

What should you do? As a Golf Digest Magazine Best in State Instructor and a Golf Tips Magazine Top 25 instructor, John explains where you should set the standard of tee height with your driver. About half the golf ball should be seen above the crown of your driver. This standard allows you to tee it ever so slightly lower if needed. While providing enough room for you to swing up and through every ball you tee.
