Police have taken a 16-year-old boy into custody after a woman and a young girl were stabbed at a home in the Ipswich suburb of Rosewood, leaving them both critically injured.
Emergency services were called to the home late Thursday night to discover the 39-year-old woman and 11-year-old girl with multiple stab wounds.
The girl and the woman were taken to hospital, both in a critical condition.
