Another explosive revelation regarding China’s alleged interference in Canada erupted last week. Conservative MP Michael Chong was informed he and his family were targeted by a Chinese diplomat in Toronto, and he says the federal government failed to act. Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly has summoned China’s ambassador to Canada to explain, but the government is still weighing its options over whether it will expel the accused diplomat. ‘The West Block’ guest host Eric Sorensen sits down with Michael Chong to discuss how this situation has shaken him personally, and where the government should go from here.

Plus, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused Russia of committing more than 6,000 war crimes in April alone. In March, the International Criminal Court issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian officials, accusing them of abducting and deporting Ukrainian children.
