Prime Minister Justin Trudeau continued a week of nearly daily pre-budget announcements in Montreal on Sunday.

He promised to spend billions of dollars on artificial intelligence research, skills training, and regulation. However, this spending has been subject to controversy.

As David Akin reports, all that spending has the leader of the official opposition calling for restraint.
