Demonstrators have set up an encampment at the University of British Columbia campus to show support for Gaza and Palestinians.

UBC officials say staff will monitor and assess the demonstration on the Vancouver campus and will liaise with the RCMP.

As Grace Ke reports, similar demonstrations have seen violent clashes, triggering the university to keep a close eye on the camp.
