Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said the war with Russia has reached a new stage, with winter expected to hinder progress.

A summer counteroffensive has failed to produce meaningful results. Plus, the conflict between Israel and Hamas is complicating efforts to secure resources and support.

But, as Global's Mackenzie Gray reports, Zelenskyy is insisting Ukraine won't back down.
