Germany's economy minister says he wants to continue with the funding of multi-billion-euro economic projects, that's despite a recent court ruling preventing the government from repurposing leftover funds raised to fight the pandemic.
Carsten Brzeski, Chief Economist at ING Germany, is much less optimistic. He believes the impact of the government’s budget crisis will have a bigger impact than half a percentage point less economic growth which the economy ministry is predicting.
