In Poland, the right wing governing Law and Justice Party appears to be on the verge of losing power. Exit polls from Sunday's general election suggest the party won the most votes – but that opposition parties will be better placed to form a government. Opposition leader Donald Tusk called it the beginning of a new era.

For more on this we talk to Michal Baranowski. He’s the Managing Director the German Marshall Fund East and joins us from the Polish capital Warsaw.
