In 2012, a baby monkey captured people’s hearts when he was seen on video running around a North York, Ont. IKEA.

He had escaped from a locked crate and vehicle before making a mad dash for the store.

He was turned over to a primate sanctuary, where he has stayed despite a legal battle involving his former owner.

Lexy Benedict has a look inside the primate sanctuary that Darwin now calls home.
