Kelly Bayer Rosmarin has quit as Optus chief executive officer after a major cyber attack in 2022 and a massive outage on November 8, that affected 10 million customers and about 400,000 businesses.
She says her departure was "in the best interests of Optus going forward". Optus's parent company Singtel Group says the organisation needs to regain customer trust.
Ms Bayer Rosmarin will be replaced in the interim by chief financial officer Michael Venter.
Daniel Ziffer reports.
