Labour Party leader Sir Keir Starmer has criticised the government's handling of the asylum system, asserting that it's broken and needs fundamental reform.

Sir Keir dismissed the use of barges, hotels and airbases to address the issue, calling them "costly symptoms of the problem". Instead, he emphasized the importance of tackling the criminal gangs behind this trade and processing applications.
