Nova Scotia officials, including Natural Resources and Renewables Minister Tory Rushton, are expected to deliver a Tuesday update about the province's wildfires.
Earlier in the week, the province announced that the historic wildfire that destroyed about 200 buildings and caused thousands to evacuate Tantallon — and the surrounding Halifax area — is now 100 per cent contained.
Though the press release said the wildfire isn’t entirely extinguished, they confirmed it is currently under control and no longer expected to spread.
