Take a ride with me in the RBN Motorsports 2014 Riley BMW Daytona Prototype around the epic Watkins Glen International.

This Riley BMW is a beast, as the final "Gen-3" generation of Daytona Prototype was heavily improved in order to compete with the then-current LMP2 cars. More power, much more downforce and carbon brakes allowed these tube-framed prototypes the chance to compete with the more modern carbon-tubbed, lightweight and downforce-shod LMP2's.

Revving to 8000 RPM this S62 BMW V8 engine puts out 650 HP and tops out at 171 MPH before the Bus Stop at Watkins Glen. For what it is, this thing performs phenomenally and is MUCH fun to drive!

As always, I had about 5-7 laps to bed brakes, shake down and set a reference lap to use for data & video throughout the weekend. Here it is!
