Tornado rips through Ottawa suburb #shorts

A tornado touched down in an Ottawa suburb on Thursday, catching debris in its cloud funnel as it ripped through the street.

As of Thursday afternoon, Ottawa Fire Services estimated about 125 houses were damaged in the storm. Ottawa paramedics said they knew of one person with a minor injury.

Roughly 1,600 Hydro Ottawa customers were without power in the area.
